The Newland Group founder, David Kingsland, has a long history with the internet. An electronic engineer by profession, in 1988 David Kingsland developed curriculum and began teaching a telecommunications course as part of the Master of Information Science degree at the University of Toronto. The early internet was an academic network but by 1994 David Kingsland could see that it held enormous potential as an effective business tool. He established The Newland Group in 1995 and assembled a highly qualified team to help business make the most of the internet. Today David Kingsland’s insights and experience are invaluable to clients as well as to his students at the University of Toronto.
