A website must be user-friendly or visitors will go elsewhere.
In the design phase, the Newland Group uses heuristic evaluation to test and evaluate user interface designs, web applications, websites and prototypes. This lets us assess interfaces in relation to current best practices and standards, detect and correct any usability concerns and prevent them from occurring during the design process.
The heuristic method is more cost-effective than statistical analysis for detecting unexpected usability issues.
By producing site maps, task flows, wireframes and prototypes, heuristic evaluation then lets us suggest ways to improve usability, visual communication and technical design.
To measure the success of design projects, The Newland Group uses site metrics analysis.
