The Club wanted to offer site visitors the opportunity to view and register for a variety of events.
While there were plenty of third party calendar widgets that would do some of the work, there was none available that met all the Club's needs, particularly as regards to event registration.
Newland installed and configured a third party event calendar and integrated a category function with the calendar. It was necessary to extract the XML file created by the event calendar and create different views of events. A registration form was created with a confirmation email sent to a Club agent upon successful completion of the form.
Solutions were configured using Java, JSP, XML and DOM.
